Stella McCartney has selected Proximity to support its clienteling strategy, rolling out the Proximity app across 14 stores in the UK, Italy, France, Spain and the U.S.
Known for its pioneering approach to luxury fashion and strong customer relationships, Stella McCartney was looking for a more connected way to support store teams and elevate the in-store experience.
By bringing customer insights, product information and day-to-day workflows together in a single app, Proximity enable Stella McCartney colleagues to personalise in-store buying journeys and deliver more informed and connected CX.
Store teams can now quickly understand each customer’s preferences and purchase history, enabling more relevant conversations and timely follow-up. This creates a smoother, more consistent experience for customers, while helping associates work more efficiently and make every interaction count.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with Stella McCartney, a brand that has consistently challenged convention and redefined what modern luxury can look like,” said Cathy McCabe, CEO and Co-Founder of Proximity.
“Its commitment to exceptional customer experiences aligns perfectly with our vision. By equipping store teams with the right customer insights, tools and product knowledge at their fingertips, we can help create more meaningful and valuable interactions every day.”
The partnership marks another milestone in Proximity’s continued growth across the global luxury retail sector, where leading brands use the platform to increase customer loyalty, improve store productivity and deliver more personalised shopping experiences at scale.
Earlier this year, Fortnum & Mason teamed up with Proximity to launch Fortnum’s Connect, its new clienteling platform to elevate and modernise personalised customer experiences across its retail teams.
Built on Proximity’s clienteling technology, Fortnum’s Connect gives staff instant access to customer insights, including preferences, purchase history and recommendations, enabling tailored interactions with greater speed and consistency.
“Fortnum’s Connect is a modern take on something retailers have been doing for many years, which is knowing and serving our customers through clienteling,” said Sean Ghouse, Director of UK Retail at Fortnum & Mason. He added that the solution enables “every single team member, across every floor and every single store, to give brilliant service… and connect and talk meaningfully to customers.”
