AI-powered shopping, retail media’s next phase of growth and the GLP-1-driven shift in consumer demand are key trends set to dominate the agenda at Groceryshop 2026.
Taking place between 22 – 24 Sep at Las Vegas’ Mandalay Bay, the event will welcome 150+ senior brand leaders to its stage, including Instacart, Unilever, Kroger, DoorDash, Sam’s Club, and Diageo.
Instacart’s CEO, Chris Rogers, will share how it is building more intuitive shopping experiences for consumers and how AI, retail media and tech can be leveraged by retailers and CPGs to unlock new growth. Meanwhile, Andy Fang, Co-Founder of DoorDash, and Yael Cosset, EVP & Chief Digital Officer at Kroger, will discuss how they are building conversational, seamless and personalised commerce experiences.
The impact of AI on grocery will also be a central focus across the Groceryshop stages, with Bain’s Aaron Cheris joining Kantar’s Leigh O’Donnell and Euromonitor International’s Michelle Evans to share fresh research on AI’s real impact on how goods are discovered and purchased. The session will explore what new AI purchasing trends and AI-led consumer behaviours mean for the future of agentic and autonomous shopping.
“Shopping baskets in grocery, convenience and drug channels are being reshaped at once – by AI, GLP-1, and retail media,” said Rocquan Lucas, VP of Content at Groceryshop.
Lucas added that Groceryshop would “zero in” on the “decisions leaders must make right now to cut costs, grow market share, expand margins, deliver standout shopping experiences, and finalise their strategy for 2027.”
Groceryshop will bring together more than 4,000 retail professionals – with one in three attendees at C-suite level – spanning retailers, brands, tech providers, investors, and start-ups from over 50 countries.
