Pret A Manger has launched its first ever drive-thru format in Warrington, as its eyes further travel hubs and roadside location expansion to “meet customers where they are.”

The outlet, which opened in Warrington yesterday (Tue 05 May) in partnership with Motor Fuel Group, will offer drive-thru service options as well as ‘dine-in’ indoor seating and EV charging facilities.

Pret already operates 500 UK stores, and runs 220 outlets in airports, railway stations and motorway service locations, including 35 which are managed by Motor Fuel Group.

Commenting on the opening of its first ever drive-thru, Ross Warnes, President UK&I at Pret A Manger, said: “Travel hubs and roadside locations present a huge growth opportunity, making the launch of our first drive-thru a natural next step in our expansion.”

“It’s part of our strategy of meeting customers where they are, while still delivering the same friendly, speedy service and freshly made food we’re known for,” Warnes added.

“As Pret’s largest UK franchise partner, opening its first ever drive-thru is a major milestone for our partnership,” commented Jack Tindall, Head of Food Service Operations at Motor Fuel Group. “We’re incredibly proud to be part launching this new format for Pret.”
