Premium furniture and homeware retailer, The Cotswold Company, has partnered with M&S to launch a “made-to-last” collection online, as it seeks to extend its omnichannel footprint and create further opportunities to reach new customers.

The collection, which will be available on M&S’ ecommerce site, will span bedroom, dining and living room furniture, and offer a 15-year guarantee, underscoring its commitment to quality pieces that are built to last.

“We’re delighted to partner with Marks & Spencer,” said Ralph Tucker, CEO of The Cotswold Company, adding: “There is a strong alignment between our brands around high-quality products, great service and exceptional value.”

“For several years, we have seen customers look for alternatives to soulless and low-quality furniture. We’re proud to be at the forefront of the shift towards high-quality furniture that adds personality to any room [and] is also made for life.”

Orders will be fulfilled via The Cotswold Company’s Cotswold Home Delivery, a specialist white-glove delivery service, and will build on the brand’s third-party retail partnerships.

Its network of retail partners forms a key part of its strategy to broaden its customer reach through complementary channels, working alongside its own DTC ecommerce operations and store network.

Tucker went on to say that the partnership with M&S would “provide another opportunity to introduce The Cotswold Company to new customers… strengthen our reach and give more customers the opportunity to shop our products through multiple channels.”

Last year, The Cotswold Company posted a +30% uplift in sales as investment in customer acquisition and its digitally led omnichannel model paid off.
