Leading brands and retail innovators, including The White Company, Crew Clothing and Google, are confirmed to speak at IMRG‘s 2026 Growth Summit.
Taking place on Wed 23 Sep 2026, the event which is hosted by the UK ecommerce association, will focus on the use of AI in digital retail and where brands can leverage tech advancements to spearhead growth.
The insight-led agenda will be split into two sessions, allowing attendees to dedicate their time to specific tracks. The morning session will explore how customer behaviour is changing in the wake of AI adoption and agentic shopping, while the afternoon covers how online retailers can capitalise on these changes and operationalise AI within their businesses.
“Retailers know they need to build AI into their processes and customer offering – many see great potential in the technology – but exactly what, where and how is proving a challenge to ensure they get maximum benefit from it”, said Andy Mulcahy, Strategy & Insight Director at IMRG.
Mulcahy will open the Growth Summit in an insight-led session on how AI can drive a new growth phase for ecommerce, outlining where digital growth is coming from, how on-site metrics are changing in 2026 and where AI’s biggest impacts may.
He is followed by Sophie Neary, MD of Retail and Consumer Goods at Google UKI, who will explore how Ai is evolving product discovery and shopper decision-making. She will also outline what these shifts mean for retailers’ visibility as well as their content and conversion strategies.
Other confirmed speakers include: Neil Phillips, Head of Digital Trading at The White Company; Raine Peake, Group Digital Director at Crew Clothing; podcast host Vinny O’Brien; and Chloe Thomas, eCommerce expert and Chief Success Strategist at eCommerce Tech.
Growth Summit is IMRG’s biggest event of the year and, in addition to its session agenda will also include 1-2-1 networking, peer-to-peer sessions, and curated roundtables, with brands such as Superdrug, Barbour, Harrods, and John Lewis.
“We function as a central point for the ecommerce community to come together, so we wanted to create a space for the retailers to meet and discuss the challenges and opportunities around AI and facilitate the next wave of innovation in ecommerce,” Mulcahy added.
