Value-focused health & beauty retailer, Bodycare, has confirmed the locations for its first tranche of store re-openings as it prepares for its High Street comeback.

Starting with its first store opening in The Moor in Sheffield on 18 Jul, other locations including Leicester, Merry Hill, Bradford, Blackburn, Leeds and Sunderland will be among the first series of stores to open as part of the retailer’s relaunch.

Bodycare is also planning further store openings in Metrocentre (Gateshead), The Fort (Glasgow), Golden Square (Warrington) and Trinity Walk (Wakefield), Retail Gazette reported.

Having been bought out of administration in October 2025, Bodycare is targeting an ambitious, innovation-driven store opening programme, which aims to open grow its UK estate to 200 locations over the next five years.

Innovation and community engagement sit at the heart of its expansion strategy, blending commerce and experiences seamlessly in-store to become an AI-first retailer. Working with PMC to design and deploy its tech infrastructure, this will see the retailer run all store operations through a proprietary, custom-built AI-platform.

“Store experience, digital presence and community engagement – all underpinned by AI intelligence – will be central to Bodycare’s new vision, as we prepare to welcome customers back,” said Bodycare’s MD, David Stern.

Each new store will also become a social content hub, generating hyper-localised content via staff, micro-influencers and customers in dedicated content studios and content creator spaces.
