Parcel locker provider, Yeep!, will launch its solar-powered parcel lockers at over 50 Transport for London (TfL) hubs across the capital, aiming to bring greater delivery convenience to commuters.
The locations, which will include car parks at Tube Stations, will offer customers 24/7 out-of-home (OOH) access for deliveries and returns, allowing them to conveniently collect or send items as part of their daily routines.
“This partnership is about integrating parcel services into places that already form part of people’s daily journeys, giving consumers additional flexibility,” Jamie Dickinson, CEO of Yeep!, commented.
“It also provides a compelling opportunity to support more efficient delivery networks that can help reduce unnecessary journeys, ease congestion and contribute to broader efforts to lower CO2 emissions across the capital.”
Earlier in May, YEEP! announced it would extend its partnership with Tesco, rolling out OOH lockers to 30 locations following a trial. The move will offer accessible 24/7 parcel pick up and drop off for shoppers as well as creating additional footfall and ambient sales opportunities.
The Tesco partnership takes YEEP!’s locker footprint to over 3,000, marking a key milestone in its ambition to increase access to out-of-home (OOHO) delivery services across the UK.
