Delivery intelligence platform, Ingrid, has announced a new strategic partnership with leading European checkout solution, Kustom, uniting checkout and delivery in a shared data foundation.
The integration improves conversions by bringing real-time, intelligent delivery experiences directly into the checkout.
Kustom drives best-in-class payment experiences and friction-free checkout encounters, which drive conversions for 24,000 brands across 170 markets globally. The new integration will see Ingrid’s delivery experience natively embedded into Kustom’s checkout experiences, offering dynamic and AI-powered delivery options, responsive fulfilment times and carrier optimised pricing for shoppers.
By building live fulfilment flexibility directly into the checkout experience, the partnership helps retailers answer growing customer demand for more dynamic delivery.
Recent research by Ingrid of over 1,000 UK shoppers showed that dynamic fulfilment options are fast becoming a key conversion consideration. Six in ten (61%) consumers say responsive AI-led delivery options now ‘make or break’ their buying decisions, while a further 75% want fulfilment fees to be calculated based on real-time information.
“Delivery has moved from operational requirement to a strategic enabler of CX within shopping experiences,” said Susanna Grill Erntell, CEO of Ingrid.
“Our partnership allows retailers to test, optimise and act on delivery data where purchasing decisions are made. This isn’t just about offering more shipping options, it’s about using sophisticated insight from our shared data layer to drive delivery personalisation for every shopper.”
Combining payment orchestration through Kustom with Ingrid’s delivery intelligence allows retailers to boost conversions and integrate fulfilment intelligence and personalisation directly into the checkout flow. This reduces data silos, allowing for cross-domain analytics and enhanced personalisation to tailoring delivery experiences for each shopper.
“We built Kustom so retailers can focus on their business, not on connecting technology. That’s why we gather market-leading functionality in an open ecosystem through partnerships,” Kamjar Hajabdolahi, CEO of Kustom, commented. “The deepened integration with Ingrid is a natural step to reduce complexity and strengthen business value for our merchants.”
The partnership also opens up powerful post-purchase engagement opportunities for retailers, with branded tracking, proactive fulfilment notifications and returns management.
“By combining Ingrid’s delivery intelligence with Kustom’s payment experiences, retailers blend the two most decisive factors in online conversions, dramatically shifting the dial on sales and CX,” Grill Erntell added.
