The Barcode Warehouse has announced a strategic partnership with i-TEK RFID, as it steps up its strategy to deliver RFID at scale across UK retail.

Unveiled on Day 1 of Retail Technology Show (RTS), the partnership combines The Barcode Warehouse’s retail tech and integration expertise with i-TEK’s RFID platforms, software and large‑scale deployment experience.

As RFID becomes increasingly recognised as a core operational capability – from inventory accuracy improvements to Loss Prevention (LP) and store labour optimisation – many programmes struggle to scale effectively due to fragmented supplier models and uncertainty around long‑term delivery and support.

At the centre of the partnership is i-TEK’s cloud‑based RFID management system that delivers real‑time item‑level visibility across stores, warehouses and supply chains. The platform supports greater inventory accuracy, cycle counting, replenishment, LP and omnichannel fulfilment, integrating with existing retail systems with minimal operational disruption.

Through its alliance with i-TEK, The Barcode Warehouse will deliver end‑to‑end RFID solutions, spanning solution design and systems integration, with UK‑based Managed Services support.

“This partnership gives UK retailers access to RFID that’s already been proven in some of the world’s most complex and demanding retail environments,” said Liam Reid, Technology and Innovation Director at The Barcode Warehouse.

He added that by blending large‑scale, high‑volume operations with UK-based delivery, integration and managed services expertise, it would help “remove the barriers that have held RFID back” and “make it ready for day‑to‑day retail operations.”

“Partnering with The Barcode Warehouse allows us to bring proven capability to the UK through a technology leader with strong managed services, integration and long‑term support, ensuring RFID delivers sustained operational value for retailers,” Ashim Ashok Patil, Founder & CEO of i-TEK RFID, commented.

The Barcode Warehouse will be exhibiting on Stand E55 at RTS 2026, which takes place on 22 & 23 April at London’s ExCeL.
