Collect+, the Out Of Home (OOH) parcel network from PayPoint, processed over 130million parcels via its Pick Up Drop Off (PUDO) locations over the last year, with a quarter (27%) of these taking place outside of office working hours.
As consumers’ demands for greater convenience and choice within their delivery experiences accelerate, shoppers are increasingly adopting OOH fulfilment options. Collect+ said it processed nearly 40million parcels outside of office hours in 2025, with Mondays the busiest day, averaging 18% of total weekly volumes.
It also said it experienced a slight increase in lunchtime parcel runs, with nearly one in 10 (9%) of weekday drop-offs and collections occurring between 12noon and 2pm.
“Convenience and ease of service is everything for consumers,” Sam Holden, MD for Parcels and Ecommerce at PayPoint, commented. She added PUDO locations were allowing shoppers “to free up weekends for socialising” or “merge in-store services with trips they’re already taking.”
The stats follow separate data on growing OOH parcel locker use from InPost UK, which suggested locker adoption for receiving parcels grew by +10 percentage points in the last quarter of 2025, rising to 44%. Meanwhile, customer usage of lockers for returns also jumped from 23% to 39% over the same period.
