SPAR store operator, AF Blakemore, will unify workforce management (WFM), standardising labour practices across its retail operations to drive store performance and boost CX, in partnership with Logile.
The retailer, which operates more than 240 SPAR stores, has selected Logile’s Labour Planning suite, bringing its WFM into a single, intelligent platform. The move aims to improve labour consistency, connecting workforce decisions to tangible business metrics while delivering consistent, high-quality CX across its estate.
Previously, AF Blakemore was using manual processes for WFM – which, according to John Gallifant, its Head of Central Operations, meant it “wasn’t always achieving our goal of having the right people doing the right things at the right times.”
By adopting Logile’s platform, the retailer can now link labour decisions directly to operational data, improving accuracy and accountability at every level.
“Logile gives us the clarity and control to make better decisions, align labour with key business metrics, and ultimately create a consistent and exceptional experiences for customers and our teams,” Gallifant explained.
“AF Blakemore’s investment in modernising its labour planning represents a strategic step towards building a more connected, data-driven retail organisation,” said Purna Mishra, Founder and CEO of Logile. “We look forward to helping them drive sustainable performance improvements and workforce engagement.”
