The Southern Co-op has launched on-demand grocery delivery with Deliveroo across 139 stores in the South of England.

Customers within a 2km radius of the participating stores – including Guildford, Winchester, Eastbourne and Horsham – can choose from up to 6,500 lines through the Deliveroo app. Products are picked and packed before being delivered in as little as 20 minutes.

Simon Eastwood, COO at Southern Co-op, commented: “We pride ourselves on listening to our members and customers in the local communities we serve, and this is our next step in giving them more, direct to their door.”
