Sitoo has been recognised by Gartner in its 2025 Market Guide for Unified Commerce Platforms Anchored by AI-Enabled POS for Tier 2 Retailers, having been named as a Representative Vendor in the report.
Gartner’s 2025 Market Guide explores how the unified commerce landscape is rapidly transforming, with AI becoming the cornerstone of next-generation POS systems. It highlights the advancements driving store staff enablement, personalised CX and operational excellence.
The 2025 Market Guide states that platforms which “facilitate seamless, personalised and touchless shopping journeys” are “crucial for meeting evolving customer expectations and differentiating brands in competitive landscapes.” It also points to the role of POS in empowering store associates with mobile-centric tools that streamline tasks and offer real-time cross-channel data and insights to enhance productivity and CX.
In addition, the report underlines architectural shifts within POS integration, moving towards composable ecosystems supported by MACH principals for faster innovation and smarter scalability across all touchpoints. Within the 2025 Market Guide, Gartner also advises retailers to view POS upgrades as a strategic opportunity for modernising store infrastructure – building in AI capabilities that enhance agility, intelligence and in-store experiences.
A certified member of the MACH Alliance, Sitoo’s solution is underpinned by a commitment to openness, interoperability and composable technology. This means it continues to reshape the role of the physical store and help retailers create shopping experiences that are fluid, flowing, scalable and smart. For example, it recently worked with one of Scandinavia’s largest fashion retailers, Varner, which operates brands including Levi’s, to enable store staff to deliver flexible, personalised shopping experiences via its Point of Sale (POS) solution.
Rolling out Sitoo’s POS for Android on Zebra Technologies’ mobile devices across its store network, Varner’s associates could deliver seamless shopping experiences, powering store performance and driving loyalty, anywhere in the store. Instead of being tied to fixed tills, staff can now move freely – checking stock, completing purchases or helping with Click & Collect orders. And, with access to real-time product and customer data, staff can enhance CX even further with personalised offers.
Commenting on Sitoo’s inclusion in Gartner’s 2025 Market Guide, Jens Levin, Co-Founder and CEO of Sitoo, said that being recognised within the report was “a powerful validation of our vision and the incredible work of our team and customers.”
“Retail is evolving faster than ever – and we believe the future belongs to retailers who embrace flexibility, intelligence, and innovation.”
Jens Levin, Co-Founder and CEO, Sitoo
“Our mission has always been to give retailers and store teams the tools they need to create flowing, unified experiences that connect every corner of retail and make shopping hassle-free and stress-free,” Levin added. “This recognition is another step forward on that journey.”
