As the Christmas party season hits its stride, rental and resale fashion marketplace HURR has announced the expansion of its ‘Dress to Door’ partnership with Deliveroo to additional locations across the UK.
Following the success of its initial London-focused trial, the partnership has been extended to include customers in Manchester, Birmingham, Greater London, Kent, Northampton and Staffordshire, as well as additional areas within central London.
The partnership means Deliveroo users can rent clothing and accessories directly from local wardrobes across the country. The scheme aims to support female entrepreneurship by creating an expanded network of small circular fashion businesses while offering customers fast and convenient access to a curated selection of outfits.
Through the Deliveroo app, users can browse a curated range of pre-loved fashion from HURR’s top community lenders and have it delivered on demand in as little as 20 minutes.
Commenting on the expanded partnership, Lauren Roberts, CEO of HURR said: “Our community is at the heart of everything we do at HURR, and this next chapter of our partnership with Deliveroo is all about them – the thousands of incredible women who rent out their wardrobes and champion circular fashion every day. We’re proud to bring ‘Dress to Door’ to more areas of the UK, empowering our lenders with new customers, new reach and new earning potential, through a platform as well-loved as Deliveroo.”
Deliveroo’s ultra-fast delivery service shortens traditional 24-hour rental delivery windows to minutes. Every rental arrives with a returns label and simple instructions designed to ensure a frictionless rental and returns experience.
Suzy McClintock, Vice President of New Verticals at Deliveroo, said: “This next phase brings together the speed of Deliveroo with the creativity and entrepreneurship of HURR’s lender community – connecting our customers with even faster, easier access to standout slow fashion.”
Customers can find HURR on the Deliveroo app by heading to the Shopping page to locate a local lender in their area.
