Global fashion retailer, Abercrombie & Fitch, will deploy Nedap’s iD Cloud platform to improve inventory visibility and on-shelf availability across its store network.

The roll out, which is due to be completed later this month across key regions, including the U.S., Europe and APAC, follows an initial 15-store pilot. The move underscores Abercrombie & Fitch’s strategic focus on improving omnichannel fulfilment, inventory accuracy and product availability.

“Inventory visibility is crucial to serving our customers seamlessly, both digitally and in-store,” said Lauren Morr, SVP of Digital Operations at Abercrombie & Fitch Co.

“We chose Nedap not only for its innovative and advanced technology, but also because of the dedicated expertise within its iD Cloud community. The partnership enables us to optimise our operations with increased inventory accuracy and visibility,” Morr added.

Leveraging Nedap’s iD Cloud Store, Abercrombie & Fitch will streamline store processes, including in-store order fulfilment and inventory replenishment, improving stock visibility and reducing out-of-stocks.

Bruno Bakker, Director of iD Cloud North America at Nedap, said that the deployment would further elevate the retailer’s omnichannel capabilities, adding it would build a “future-proof foundation” which “fuels efficiency, customer satisfaction and growth.”
