
Marks & Spencer has launched a week-long ‘Live Shopping Style Stream’ across its Facebook and Instagram accounts showcasing its Christmas product range.
Hosted by M&S brand ambassadors and influencers, the live shopping events highlight their product picks across fashion, beauty, gifting, and hosting.
The first stream went live yesterday (1 December) with shopping events running through to Friday (5 December).
“M&S fans are obsessed, and our social channels are buzzing as customers turn to our experts and ambassadors for this season’s must-have buys,” said Sharry Cramond, M&S Marketing Director.
Broadcast live from the M&S in-house studios, the Live Shopping Style Stream features broadcasts including ‘Gifting & Hosting 101’ with Laura Jackson on Wednesday (3 December). Thursday will focus on must-have styles for men with Vernon Kay and Kris Donnelly while Friday’s theme will be ‘Now Trending’ with Nana Acheampong and Pip Hodgson.
The live shopping event forms part of M&S’ ongoing shift toward a more social-first marketing strategy, which this year saw the retailer replace its traditional hero Christmas advert with a series of shorter content drops released throughout the peak season.
