Dr. Martens, the British footwear and accessories brand, has made a move into the UAE for the first time, agreeing a distribution deal with Beside Group. The brand will initially be sold through wholesale before expanding into branded stores.
Additionally, it has also partnered with Crosby, a specialist distributor in Latin America, to increase its reach into Mexico, Argentina. Paraguay and Chile launching both stores and selling through wholesale partners.
The first Dr. Martens store opened in Buenos Aires in August with its second store, in Santiago, opening this week, marking the brand’s first store in Chile.
Dr Martens’ said the partnerships mark an important milestone in its growth strategy.
