IKEA has unveiled its new Life at Home offering – a range of services, its says, are designed to meet evolving customer needs.

The initiative launches with three services: Home Move & Setup, Energy Services, and the IKEA Family Credit Card. Together they aim to simplify relocation, make sustainable energy solutions more accessible, and provide flexible home finance options.

“At IKEA, we’ve always been driven by the mission to create a better everyday life for people. The Life at Home offering reflects this commitment. It’s a comprehensive collection of services that not only makes life at home more convenient and affordable but also empowers our customers to live more sustainably.”

Ashley Hamilton, UKIE Customer Manager, IKEA

“With solutions that span moving home, energy and financial services, we’re making it easier for our customers to navigate life’s moments and transitions,” Hamilton added.

Simplifying the moving experience

The Home Move & Setup service, currently being trialled in collaboration with home-set-up platform Just Move In, covers relocation needs including removals, storage and deep cleaning, as well as utility transfers, broadband and TV subscriptions, and mail redirection.

Basic access to the platform is free, with professional services offered at competitive rates. Customers can sign up online, tailor their Move & Setup package, and have Just Move In handle the full process.

Supporting the switch to renewable energy

IKEA’s new Energy Services package forms part of its wider sustainability strategy, designed to help households cut non-renewable energy use by connecting shoppers with trusted partners including:

  • Aira, which offers a free home energy assessment, system design, installation and 15 years of aftercare via an all-inclusive plan.
  • Soly, which provides advanced solar technology, expert advice, certified installation and its Soly Brain smart energy management app.

Payment solutions for small- to medium-ticket purchases

The IKEA Family Credit Card provides shoppers with flexible repayment options and benefits both in and outside of IKEA. Customers can access 0% interest instalment plans on qualifying purchases and earn IKEA Family Reward points: 1 point per £5 spent at IKEA and 1 point per £10 spent elsewhere. Points can be redeemed on future purchases.
