HIVED, the fully electric parcel delivery network, is expanding its service offering to include electric haulage and long-distance transportation, connecting cities and distribution hubs across the country with its fleet of electric HGVs.

It will leverage its middle-mile electric HGV fleet, which is already used to power the back end of its parcel delivery network, for its roster of brands, which includes Nespresso, Zara, and H&M brands.

“We’re not just announcing a future service; we’re already running electric trunking routes every day. With 44t eHGVs operating from London and the Midlands, we’re open for business and ready to help brands make their supply chains more reliable, cleaner, and future-proof.”

Isabel Fuell, VP of Operations Strategy & Expansion, HIVED

HIVED says this expansion is powered by its growing investment in heavy-duty electric vehicles, in partnership with Mercedes-Benz and Daimler Trucks, with the company aiming to create the UK’s largest fleet of eHGVs designed for long-haul operations.

Mathias Krieger, Co-Founder and CPO at HIVED, said: “Every electric truck we put on the road is proof that a better way forward exists. Our investment in electric infrastructure isn’t just about growth, it’s about rewriting the rulebook for logistics and proving that the most sustainable option can also be the highest-quality solution on the market.”

The trucks are now available for trunking within the haulage market, with HIVED saying they offer a better alternative for freight movement that aligns with the climate commitments of UK businesses.
