Evri has announced a two-year contract expansion of its long-term partnership with Debenhams Group, establishing it as one of the retailer’s key delivery partners.

The deal with Debenhams, which owns brands including boohoo, boohooMAN and Karen Millen, will see its customers benefit from the launch of Evri’s new locker strategy, giving shoppers more choice over how and where they receive their orders.

Evri has announced a planned investment of £50 million into its OOH strategy, as it looks to more than double its network of ParcelShops and lockers by 2030, reaching 25,000 locations.

“Today’s shoppers expect speed, flexibility and full visibility when it comes to receiving their items, whenever and however they choose to shop. This is exactly what we have found in our partnership with Evri. As we continue to scale our marketplace model, we’re delighted to extend this partnership with Evri, giving customers greater choice and convenience as they shop thousands of brands at Debenhams Group.”

Dan Finley, Chief Executive, Debenhams Group.

The renewed partnership, which has been in place since 2014, follows a number of key strategic announcements for the Yorkshire-based delivery company, including a proposed merger with DHL UK eCommerce, alongside the acquisition of Ireland’s Coll-8 – a leading independent customs clearance and logistics specialist.

David Saenz, Chief Commercial Officer, Evri, said: “We’re thrilled to further bolster our relationship with the Debenhams Group and its brands, as we move into this next phase of our partnership. In what has been over a decade of working together, it’s been incredible for both businesses to grow alongside one another, and this is evidenced in the increased volume of parcels we are forecasting to deliver to their customers this year.”
