Currys will partner with Vyntelligence, leveraging its Agentic AI-powered Vyn® video intelligence platform to improve operations and enhance customer experience across its tech repair services.

Currys’ customers can now use the video platform to show and describe issues with their tech products, including white goods and TVs, to help quickly resolve issues. Currys’ contact centre provides customers with a text link to a Vyn® report, which then prompts the customer to record the issue and take a photo of the product serial number.

Once submitted, Vyn®’s Agentic AI automatically summarises the key issues and shares them with Currys’ specialist repair technicians. This allows Currys’ engineers to spot issues in advance, helping to improve first-time fix rates and streamline workflows, as well as reducing the carbon footprint associated with unnecessary callout visits.

As well as saving time, by digitalising the product serial number from the customer’s photo within the Vyn® report, the correct parts for any fixes can be identified ahead of repair, also helping to streamline the process.

“We’re delighted to be announcing this partnership with Vyntelligence,” said David Rosenberg, Director of Service Operations at Currys. “Its Agentic AI platform is customer-friendly and enables us to save crucial time and resources.”

Rosenberg added that the rollout ensures its “expert technicians can focus on what matters most: giving tech the longest life possible, drawing on their highly-specialist skills to do so.”

In what it describes as a ‘retail-first’, the rollout supports Currys’ mission to give technology a longer life, joining existing initiatives like its Cash for Trash scheme. Cash for Trash collects consumers’ old or unwanted electronics, which are then either repaired, refurbished, harvested for parts or responsibly recycled.

“This partnership with Currys marks a meaningful step forward in our mission to build deeper trust with customers while advancing environmental stewardship,” added Kapil Singhal, Co-Founder & CEO of Vyntelligence. “We’re excited to see how [our] technology can support Currys’ sustainability goals and enhance its customer experience.”
