Parcel delivery company, Evri, has extended its partnership with second-hand fashion marketplace, Vinted, as consumer demand for pre-loved clothing continues to grow.

With Evri’s data showing that last year nearly 30million UK consumers shopped for pre-loved items online, Vinted and Evri have extended their partnership for another four years.

“Our two businesses are perfectly placed to grow together as the pre-loved boom continues to drive increased demand for Vinted,” said David Saenz, Chief Commercial Officer at Evri.

The partnership will allow Vinted shoppers to leverage Evri’s growing network of ParcelShops and locker locations, as Evri targets delivering over a billion parcels annually. Earlier in June, Evri announced it will invest over £50million as part of its plans to significantly expand its Out Of Home (OOH) delivery network, aiming to double its network of ParcelShops and lockers to 25,000 by 2030.

“At Vinted, we want our members to benefit from the most convenient and efficient shipping options,” commented Vytautas Atkoičaitis, VP of Vinted Go.

“Expanding our partnership with Evri ensures that UK members can continue to use its growing delivery network and its exciting new locker proposition, making it even easier to buy and sell second-hand items.”

Over the summer, Evri will also become the first UK carrier to trial Vinted’s reusable packaging across select locations. The pilot will allow Vinted users to pick up reusable packaging when dropping off items in select Evri ParcelShops.
