
Product Experience (PX) company Akeneo has launched its first AI agent, Akeneo Data Architect Agent (DAA), empowering retailers to manage product data with enhanced speed, accuracy and control.
Turning product data into a strategic AI asset
DAA leverages Akeneo’s deep product-modelling expertise to generate accurate, governable data models in a fraction of the usual time, cutting implementation from months to days. This means brands and retailers can now launch or re-architect product catalogues at enterprise scale, without sacrificing control or data quality.

Akeneo also unveiled further advancements within its Akeneo Product Cloud to support the effectiveness of DAA within its 2025 Summer Release.
This includes AI-Powered Product Enrichment, which instantly extracts structured data from images and PDFs, accelerating SKU creation and reducing manual entry. It also now offers a Composable Products feature, which provides an intuitive and scalable way to model product bundles, kits, and modular components.
Product experience insights to drive discovery in AI-led search
In addition to DAA, Akeneo also launched new capabilities within its PX Insights analytics solution, which connects customer behaviour, sentiment and shopping signals directly to product data inside Akeneo PIM.
Its new AI Discovery Optimisation feature allows retailers to better understand how products are interpreted and recommended by AI shopping assistants, such as ChatGPT. This then helps teams fine-tune product information, content and supporting structure for maximum visibility and relevance.
Additionally, the new Google Shopping Optimisation Dashboard highlights gaps in product listings and campaign performance, enabling fast, data-backed improvements that increase conversion and ROI.
