In-store inventory feed platform, NearSt, has announced a partnership with RFID and inventory management solution, Chainlane, to help retailers unlock the value from their omnichannel stock data.

The combined solution helps brands enhance inventory accuracy via real-time cross-channel stock insights, improving availability to boost conversions, sales and customer satisfaction.

“When shoppers search online for nearby products, they expect accurate, up-to-date results. But too often, what they see doesn’t reflect what’s actually on the shelves,” Nick Brackenbury, CEO at NearSt, said.

He added that the partnership “helps get the data right”, enabling retailers to “serve customers more reliably,” whether they’re shopping online or in-store.

Chainlane allows retailers track products in real-time using RFID across their warehouses, stockrooms and shop floors, offering a reliable, accurate view of stock. The data is then fed into NearSt’s inventory platform, serving search feeds and shopping platforms – including Google, Facebook and Uber – to power discoverability.

“It’s a simple, powerful way to connect in-store accuracy with online discovery and, ultimately, help drive more in-store sales,” Michal Barnett Paran, VP of Sales at Chainlane, said.
