Demand for Oasis-themed fashion has increased by +913% ahead of the 90s band’s comeback tour which starts from tomorrow (04 July 2025), according to data from JD Sports.

Data from sportswear giant JD showed that on-site searches referencing Oasis experienced a +464% uplift in June compared to the month prior, while queries for ‘Oasis trainers’ also rose by +139% in June.

Fans favour ‘Gallagher-inspired’ get-up

JD said searches for adidas trainers – a wardrobe staple of the Gallagher brothers – had also seen a spike, with searches for adidas Gazelle and Samba sneakers rising +29% and 25% respectively in the past month.

“With Oasis fever sweeping the UK, demand for the group’s iconic 90s fashion has surged,” Callum McGuinness, Digital Trading Lead for JD UK & ROI, said. “Fans are embracing the nostalgia to complete their gig-ready looks.”

Earlier in May, indie marketplace platform, Faire, also said sales of Oasis-inspired products had also risen by +150% in the UK since its reunion tour was announced last August. It said the bucket hat was experiencing a revival, with sales of 90s headgear up +275%, while demand for parkas also saw a marked uplift.

Oasis tour set to drive nearly £1billion in spending

Novuna Personal Finance estimates that the Oasis reunion tour will inject over £940million into the UK economy between July and September this year.

“The Oasis reunion is more than a once-in-a-generation music event – it’s a serious economic opportunity,” said Theresa Lindsay, CMO at Novuna Personal Finance.

It predicts 1.4million fans will each spend an average of £682.80 on everything from tickets and travel to meals and merchandise across the 17 UK tour dates.

“Aldeh” gets temporary rebrand to honour Oasis’ heritage

Away from fashion, discounter supermarket Aldi has also been embracing Oasis fever.

It changed the name of its Bury New Road store in Prestwich, near to the band’s Heaton Park leg of their tour, from ‘Aldi’ to ‘Aldeh.’ The discounter said the change “embraced the Mancunian pronunciation” of its brand name as well as celebrating Oasis’ Mancunian heritage.

“With the Oasis reunion, we wanted to mark the occasion. By temporarily renaming our Bury New Road store to ‘Aldeh,’ we’re celebrating both the local dialect and the legendary band that has brought so much joy to fans worldwide,” Julie Ashfield, Chief Commercial Officer at Aldi UK, said.
