My Waitrose members will be able to access loyalty scheme offers on Q-Commerce orders placed on the Uber Eats platform, as Waitrose looks to deliver value and enhanced convenience to customers.
Waitrose has seen growing demand for on-demand grocery deliveries, with sales across its Q-Commerce partners – Uber Eats, Deliveroo and Just Eat – increasing 110% year-on-year.
“Our on-demand partnerships have enabled us to bring our quality products to new food-loving customers,” said Laura Burbedge, Director of Waitrose Online. “We now want to provide greater value to customers ordering via Uber Eats.”
By linking their My Waitrose and Uber Eats accounts, customers will receive the same loyalty offers which are available in-store and online when shopping on-demand. This marks the first time Waitrose has launched loyalty offers across any of its Q-Commerce services.
“Our partnership with Waitrose is all about combining quality with convenience, and now, with offers for My Waitrose members, we’re adding even more value to the experience,” added Alex Troughton, Regional GM of Grocery and Retail at Uber Eats UK and EMEA.
