Westfield will launch SOJO’s Fix & Fit repair and alterations service at its Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City shopping centres tomorrow (25 June).
Delivered in partnership with SOJO, a B-Corp organisation, the service aims to extend the lifecycle of clothing by repairs and alterations. Customers can book tailoring, repair, or refitting services either in-store or online. These include everything from zip replacements and trouser hems to complete alterations and bespoke customisation. Finished items can then be collected in person or delivered to customers’ doors.
SOJO’s online service allows customers nationwide to book a collection, send their garments, and have them tailored or repaired and returned to their home.
“With 59% of UK consumers seeking more reuse and repair options over the next five years, this partnership is both timely and essential.”
Katie Wyle, Director of Shopping Centre Management, northern Europe, Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield
“SOJO Fix & Fit offers a smart and stylish solution to fashion longevity, perfectly aligned with Westfield’s commitment to shaping a more conscious retail future,” added Wyle.
Josephine Philips, founder and chief executive of SOJO, added: “We’re thrilled to be launching SOJO Fix & Fit stores at Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City.”
“This is all about integrating a repair culture into the very heart of shopping. Clothes deserve to be loved, worn and re-worn, and we’re making it simpler.”
