Global cosmetics brand KIKO Milano has partnered with Logistics Reply to overhaul its UK logistics infrastructure, creating greater speed and agility in its ecommerce deliveries, which has helped cut online fulfilment times by 50%.
Founded in 1997, KIKO Milano has revolutionised how cosmetics are sold globally by identifying major beauty trends and making them accessible through its affordable ranges of makeup and skincare. Rooted in its Italian DNA, KIKO now has over 1,250 stores and is available in 70 markets globally.
With rapid growth in the UK and a rising demand for online shopping and fast home delivery, KIKO recognised the need to evolve its supply chain operations. Opening a new dark store in London, KIKO selected Logistics Reply’s Warehouse Management System (WMS) to build a more scalable and agile logistics infrastructure.
With a microservices-based architecture, Logistics Reply was able to streamline the deployment of core capabilities needed to launch the dark store and align with KIKO’s operational requirements. This enabled the rapid launch of the dark store, which took just four months from kick-off to go-live, as well as ensuring scalability for future growth.
The partnership has already improved delivery times while driving up product availability, as Paul Devin, Managing Director UK at KIKO, explained: “this solution has allowed us to cut our ecommerce delivery times in half.”
“Our mission is to delight customers with innovative, high-quality products delivered with speed and reliability” Devin added. “Logistics Reply has been a trusted partner throughout the project.”
Enrico Nebuloni, Executive Partner at Reply, commented: “The success of this project is a testament to strong collaboration between our teams in Italy and the UK, and to the power of combining visionary leadership with scalable innovation.”
