Ecommerce agency, Visualsoft, has extended its offer, making its first move into physical retail by expanding its services to include Shopify Point of Sale (POS).
Supporting retailers operating on Shopify POS, from installation and hardware configuration to integration, Visualsoft will bring best-practice of delivering online experiences into bricks-and-mortar store operations.
This marks Visualsoft’s move towards a more unified commerce offering, which will help brands bridge the gap between on- and off-line, enabling retailers to enhance customer experiences and deliver more seamless buying journeys.
“Shoppers don’t think in channels – they just expect things to work. Whether it’s online or in-store, the experience needs to be joined up and seamless,” Chris Fletcher, CEO of Visualsoft, said. “This move is something we’ve been building towards for a while and we’re excited to help retailers create smarter, more connected journeys.”
Shopify POS includes omnichannel features, including real-time stock syncronisation and visibility, unified customer profiles designed to create a singe view of the shoppers, as well as flexible checkout options.
“The barriers between online and offline are fading fast,” Matthew Eley, Retail Product Lead at Visualsoft, added. “Retailers need tools that help them work as one business, not two separate teams or systems, to connect everything behind the scenes so it works better for customers.”
