John Lewis has announced a new partnership with Kidswear Collective, the UK’s fastest-growing pre-loved and past season designer kidswear platform, opening a dedicated space in its Oxford Street flagship.
Housed within John Lewis‘ kids department, the new concession will offer a curated selection of pre-loved fashion for children up to 12-years old.
Exclusive pre-loved edits
It will include exclusive edits only available at John Lewis from leading brands, including Gucci, Burberry and Stella McCartney, priced at up to 60% off the original RRP. All pre-loved products will undergo an 8-step inspection to guarantee authenticity and are dry cleaned so they are ready to wear.
As well as pre-loved garments, the John Lewis x Kidswear Collective concession will also include past-season pieces from just £20, typically from end of season stock that’s unworn with original tags.
“Having seen tremendous success with our rental, circular and pre-loved collections and partnerships, we’re thrilled to continue to offer more sustainable shopping options for our customers,” Danielle Gagola, Services & Innovation Lead at John Lewis, said.
“Our new partnership with Kidswear Collective reflects our commitment to develop responsible and accessible pre-loved fashion for our customers.”

“We are passionate about changing the perception of pre-loved fashion, and working with retailers like John Lewis is the perfect way to enable customers to engage with the garments firsthand and see the quality for themselves,” Shoshana Kazab, Founder of Kidswear Collective, commented.
“We love the fact that customers at John Lewis can shop a ‘mixed’ wardrobe in-store, which can include both in-season and pre-loved pieces,” Kazab added.
Another step in enhancing circularity
The move is the latest in John Lewis’ commitment to enhancing its circular retail offer, having confirmed in April it will expand its repair service to all UK stores after a successful pilot.
The service will be run in partnership with Johnsons, which is owned by Timpson Group, and allows customers to drop off items – from fashion repairs and alterations to handbag restorations – at their local John Lewis store.
The repair offering will accept any brand, and will also give John Lewis loyalty members a 5% discount on single repairs.
