Out-of-home (OOH) parcel delivery provider, InPost, has passed a major milestone having installed 1,000 Tesco Locker locations.

The partnership, first launched in 2021, offers Tesco customers a convenient way to collect, return and send parcels when shopping at its stores, including its super and hypermarkets, convenience stores and forecourt outlets.

Now two thirds (66%) of InPost Locker users combine using the OOH offer with visiting a Tesco store, and more than half (53%) say they visit Tesco more frequently because of the lockers; a win-win for Tesco and its customers.

“Reaching 1,000 lockers at Tesco is yet another major milestone in our mission to make parcel collection, returns, and sending as easy and seamless as possible,” Neil Kuschel, CEO of InPost UK, commented.

“Our partnership with Tesco demonstrates that OOH delivery solutions not only offer unmatched convenience for shoppers but also benefit retailers. We’re proud to continue expanding our network with Tesco and look forward to making everyday shopping trips even easier for shoppers across the UK.”

The 1,000th locker milestone with Tesco is part of InPost’s continued expansion across the UK, aiming to make every day errands faster and easier for millions of customers.

Earlier this month, InPost announced its latest partnership with ASOS, launching next-day OOH delivery services, allowing ASOS customers to pick-up orders across its network of over 16,000 UK lockers and parcel shops. In response to growing demand among shoppers for rapid and contact-free delivery, the service will offer increased speed, flexibility and convenience when picking up ecommerce orders.
