Evri, one of the UK’s largest dedicated parcel delivery companies, is set to merge with DHL eCommerce, the ecommerce logistics specialist of DHL Group.
As part of the transaction, DHL Group will acquire a significant minority stake in Evri. This latest sector consolidation follows the April acquisition of UK-based Yodel by InPost, the Polish logistics company, in a deal worth £106 million.
Evri will retain its core branding while DHL eCommerce in the UK will operate under Evri Premium – a network of DHL eCommerce, which will remain a separate division. Evri Premium will focus on offering time-sensitive deliveries with enhanced security protection for high-value and large items for B2B and B2C parcel services.
“By combining Evri’s scale and innovation with DHL eCommerce’s best-in-class premium van network, we are creating the pre-eminent parcel delivery group in the UK. Over the last

and global ecommerce markets.”
The new Group will include expanded international capability for inbound and outbound parcels to complement Evri’s own international network. This will make use of DHL eCommerce’s extensive expertise in cross-border parcel shipping and out-of-home network of nearly 150,000 global access points. It will also includes faster transit times across the world, thanks to access to DHL’s own eCommerce network in Europe, the U.S. and selected Asian markets, such as India.
“DHL eCommerce and Evri both stand for top service quality, reliability, and sustainability, which makes this partnership a great fit for our customers,” Pablo Ciano, CEO of DHL eCommerce, commented. “Together, we’ll be able to offer more efficient, far-reaching and innovative solutions to keep up with the fast-paced ecommerce market. By joining forces in the UK, we’re creating a one-stop shop for all our customers’ parcel needs here and giving them better delivery options from around the world.”
On completion, the combined Group, will bring together a team of over 30,000 couriers and van drivers with a fleet of 8,000 vehicles delivering over 1billion parcels and 1billion letters annually.
