Supply chain traceability and compliance data management solution, TrusTrace, has launched an AI-driven upgrade of its platform, helping brands unify and analyse supply chain and traceability data with greater confidence.
The upgraded platform centralises supplier-provided, brand-owned and third-party data through advanced AI technology, increasing data reliability and insight quality.
This provides retailers with a single source of comprehensive and validated information, rather than a fragment view of their supply chain which could leave them exposed to compliance risk. The unified data hub allows brands to leverage supply chain data, elevating it “from a regulatory requirement to a strategic asset” to inform decision-making and long-term strategy.
“In today’s high-stakes regulatory and business environment, access to accurate, real-time sustainability data shouldn’t be a privilege – it should be a given,” said Shameek Ghosh, CEO of TrusTrace.
New data collection and integration functionality will also allow retailers to gather, structure and share supply chain and traceability data – including supply chain mapping, certifications, chain of custody records and regulatory compliance documents – all on one central platform.
“We’ve built a powerful, AI-assisted supply chain data hub that allows companies to quickly and easily collect and analyse data at scale, empowering them to move from reactive crisis management to proactive impact-driven strategies,” Ghosh added.
New Look recently announced that it will partner TrusTrace to create greater visibility across its supply chain, supporting more responsible sourcing as part of its ESG strategy. The partnership will support New Look’s journey to use tech and data to build more transparent, responsible and future-ready supply chains.
Sue Fairley, Head of ESG, Quality and Sourcing at New Look, said the partnership would deliver “deeper visibility” through its suppliers to “mitigate supply chain risks.”
“With TrusTrace, we can confidently trace products back through the value chain, supporting our sustainability goals and ensuring we’re operating in a way that’s transparent and accountable.” Fairley, added.
