True Classic, the ‘better fit’ menswear brand, has received growth funding from global investment firm, 1686 Partners.
Since launching in 2019, True Classic has served over 5million customers across 190+ countries. The brand’s fast-growth rise has been powered by a “relentless focus on fit, value and story,” it said, as well as blending digital-first engagement with community-driven storytelling.
This first investment round will support True Classic’s evolution from a breakout menswear success as it expands into new categories, including womenswear and kids, new global markets and retail experiences. It also will allow the brand to meet customers where they are – whether online or in-store – as well as supporting its mission to “elevate the standard for modern wardrobe staples.”
“This is more than a capital raise,” Ben Yahalom, CEO of True Classic, said, “it’s rocket fuel for our mission.”
“We started True Classic to solve a simple problem – better basics at a better price – but it’s grown into something much bigger. With 1686 Partners, we’re scaling with purpose and aiming to redefine how apparel brands connect with people around the world.”

This year, True Classic will expand its product offering beyond menswear, launching women’s and kids’ collections in H2.
